I apologize to Janice for the slight misinterpretation of what she told me today about academics and pressing political problems.

My interpretation of what she's saying now are that academics will study an issue to death and at such great length that by the time they reach a conclusion the issue is likely to be moot anyway.

But what do I know? I am just one of those first drafts of history guys.
