The radiologist in Boston today confirmed the good news that we got last week in Albany: the recent CT scan shows shrinkage of the tumor in the pancreas, and no spread of the cancer to any other organ.
He also agreed that I should have two more rounds of chemo, and after that should be followed with CT scans every few months. Although we expected him to say what he did today, it was still comforting to hear him say it.
We hope and expect the same thing will happen when we visit our oncologist in Boston tomorrow.
All this gives me reason to hope that 2010 will be a better year than 2009.
